Strength & Stretch

Get Strong and Bendy

In your pole journey you will inevitably reach a stage where you need a little more strength and flexibility to reach certain moves and tricks. Our Strength & Stretch classes complement our Pole classes perfectly and working to increase both of these, makes the challenging moves more accessible and attainable.
The first half of this class you will guide you through a range of body conditioning work outs, both on and off the pole to give you a full body workout. The focus will be on upper body as well as leg strength. 
The second half of the class will be focused on stretches to improve full body flexibility through a range of active, static, PNF and partner stretches to strengthen, stabalise and improve the range of motion in your hamstrings, hips, calves, shoulders and back.

Each class will be fun and different. General sports wear will be required (trainers etc) and water and be prepared to work hard! 

You will learn
HIIT exercises
Body weight (individual and partner) exercises 
Stability exercises for shoulder and core
Pole conditioning 
A range of safe stretches and poses to increase joint mobility
Correct stretching technique
How to listen to your body during stretching
Injury prevention during stretching 
How to work towards your splits 

Please Note
All classes are 1 hour
Classes are suitable for ages 16 onwards
These classes are suitable for all levels 

All classes are taught on static poles with the exception of Spinning Pole Class and Open Training where you can request the poles to be put on spinning mode
You will need to complete a health and safety form before attending class
All classes start with a cardiovascular and strength based warm up and end with a relaxing cool down.
